I have been asked if I thought America was dying, and have had to think about that question for several days before I could pen an answer. I’m not sure if this is an adequate answer, but here we go. This is supposed to be about two paragraphs, but with so much going on, I find it impossible to keep this piece that short. I will be as brief as possible while attempting to answer the question.

Back in the early 20th century, Lenin was the leader of the socialistic government of the U. S. S. R ( Union of Soviet Socialist Republics). Sometime during his reign, he made a promise to the world that he would bring Socialism to the United States . In the early 1940’s, Norman Mattoon Thomas, a member of the Communist Party of the U. S. S. R. stated that the transformation of the United States would be from within.

Everybody scoffed at that idea thinking that our form of government would never give in to socialistic or communistic ideas. Since then, however, time has proven that prophesy to be true. The Republican Party of today is very close to the Democrat Party of the 1940’s, and the Democrat Party of today is very close to the Socialist Party of Communist Russia, and the U. S. S. R. OF THE 1940’s. Republicans have been drifting from RIGHT thinking toward the LEFT, and Democrats have been drifting farther to the LEFT.

In addition to the shifting ideas of both of America ’s political parties, we have accumulated more debt in the last four years than the period of 1776 to 2010. The United States Constitution lays fiscal responsibility on the United States Congress. The House of Representatives is held responsible to propose a budget, and the Senate either accepts or rejects that proposal. If the proposed budget is rejected by the Senate, they add amendments to the budget and send it back to the House. In time, a budget is agreed upon, and the money is allocated to the budget. The problem today is that the House sends a ridiculously high budget to the Senate, it gets amended to add more spending to the budget, and the House agrees to the proposal, and a budget is passed. More recently, Congress as a whole has not passed an annual budget in the last three years. They pass enough of a budget to survive the spending for a couple of months, and at the end of that time, go back into negotiating (arguing) about the rest of the fiscal year, only to pass another temporary budget. This cycle has been going on ad nauseum. In addition to Congress not being able to agree on how much money to spend for the next year, no one in either party of either house of the Congress has enough fortitude to make the necessary cuts in current spending to ensure that tax revenues are of sufficient quantity to cover expenditures.

Add to this mix a President that has, for the first time in the history of the United States, decided to bypass Congress on various issues, and run the country by Executive Order, adding various CZARs to his staff in the Executive branch of government without any approval from Congress, making departmental appointments while Congress is in recess, and making changes that benefit the growing Ruling Class of government in the United States.

Now, let’s throw in a few other ingredients. The Democrat Party is currently made up of labor unions, the Communist Party, and “Big Business” contributors to the cause. These three groups make huge financial donations to the Democrat Party so their agenda can be fostered and pushed We the People. There are some good people in the Democrat Party, but it has been documented that 70 members of Congress are members of the Communist Party.

I am not sure that I’ve answered the question to my own satisfaction, but I hope that I’ve shed some light on some of the problems we are facing. I just hope I live long enough to see the citizens of this great nation rise up and take their government back. One way of doing that is to vote in every local and national election that you have a chance to vote in. Another thing we all need to do is to correspond with our congressional representatives. Write them letters, make telephone, send them a fax… whatever it takes to get YOUR views known to your representatives.
